Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 21, 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Lucas Quinn collects, uses, shares, stores, and deletes information for luxdn.com, Lux Invoice, related public pages, account surfaces, support, and any mobile apps published by Lux.
Lux Invoice is a new invoice maker for field workers. It creates quote and invoice documents and lets a user manually mark them paid or unpaid. Customers cannot pay invoices through Lux, and Lux never asks your customers for card or bank details.
For privacy questions, account deletion requests, or app store review questions, contact [email protected]. For security reports, contact [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect information from you, your team, your device, and our service providers.
- Account information such as name, email address, profile image, authentication method, team membership, role, and security settings.
- Business and Invoice data such as business profile, client records, quotes, invoices, line items, tax settings, notes, terms, document numbers, paid or unpaid status, PDFs, and uploaded assets.
- Support and communication data such as emails, feedback, legal requests, security reports, unsubscribe choices, and notification preferences.
- Lux app access data such as plan, receipt history, account status, tax details, and app store receipt details if you buy access through a store. Lux does not need customer payment credentials for invoices created in the product.
- Integration data if you connect another service, such as webhook configuration, provider account identifiers, sync status, and data required to complete the requested integration.
How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve Lux Invoice.
- Provide accounts, teams, Invoice records, PDFs, email sending, and support.
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, investigate security events, and enforce terms.
- Manage Lux app access, receipts, tax records, refunds, and purchase support.
- Send service messages such as verification email, password reset, invitations, account notices, incident notices, and important product or policy updates.
- Understand how people use Lux, debug issues, measure reliability, and decide what to build or remove.
- Comply with law, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, and app store obligations for the software app.
We may connect activity collected before sign in with your account after you sign in so the service can maintain security, support, and product records.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate Lux, comply with obligations, or complete an action you request.
- With service providers that host infrastructure, store files, send email, provide auth, process logs, prevent fraud, support customers, or analyze product reliability.
- With app stores or purchase providers if you buy Lux app access through them. That is only for Lux software access and is separate from every invoice you create in Lux.
- With your team administrators and invited team members according to the roles and access controls configured in Lux.
- With connected integrations and webhook endpoints that you or your team choose to use.
- With courts, regulators, law enforcement, app stores, or other parties when we believe disclosure is required by law, protects Lux or others, or is needed to investigate fraud, abuse, security, or prohibited activity.
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections for the information involved.
Buying Lux access
If Lux is sold through a web purchase page or app store, that purchase is only for access to Lux software. A store or purchase provider may collect card details, purchase address, tax information, device data, and receipt details under its own terms.
Lux Invoice does not let your customers pay invoices through Lux. It does not collect money from your customers.
If Lux offers an Apple App Store or Google Play app, the store listing and in-app privacy surfaces will point to this policy. We will keep app privacy labels, data safety answers, and in-app disclosures consistent with the data practices described here.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking choices
Lux uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign in, security, session continuity, preferences, diagnostics, and product analytics. You can control cookies through your browser, but some account and security features may not work without them.
We do not use personal data for cross-app advertising tracking unless we first provide the notice and consent required by the platform and applicable law.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, service-provider review, logging, and account security controls. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Lux, maintain security, resolve disputes, satisfy tax, accounting, legal, security, and app store obligations, and enforce our terms. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
You can update profile information and delete your account from account settings where available. You can also request account or data deletion by emailing [email protected]. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period or be retained when required for legal, security, tax, dispute, or compliance reasons.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict the use of your personal information. To make a request, contact [email protected] from the email address connected to your Lux account.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link. We may still send service, security, legal, account, and transactional messages.
International transfers
Lux and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. When information is transferred internationally, we use safeguards appropriate to the data, service provider, and applicable law.
Children
Lux is not directed to children and is not intended for users under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Lux, contact [email protected].
Changes
We may update this policy as Lux changes or as legal or app store requirements change. When we make a material update, we will update the date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
